When we talk about Indian Stamps in Devanagari, two stamps that were designed in 1960s to commemorate 'Ashadhasya Pratham Divase' - First day of Aashadh (Marathi Month Aashadh), would be celebrated and cherished first.  This stamp is based on the painting by Professor Radha Charan Bagchi of Kala Bhavan, Shantiniketan illustrating scene from the great works of Kavi Kulguru Kalidas - The Meghaduta.
